Cherry Recipe Box
Instructions
For best results, please read all instructions before beginning project.

1. Sand wood and apply All-Purpose Primer.

2. To transfer the design to the box, trace the pattern onto tracing paper. Carefully mark over the lines on the back of the tracing paper with colored chalk. Place the tracing paper on the wood, chalk side down, and retrace with a stylus.

3. Using the #6 shader brush for small areas and the #10 shader brush for larger areas, paint Gold frame on top of box and band around opening of box.

4. Use shader brushes to paint White below Gold band around box, including bottom.

5. Use shader brushes to paint Medium Blue in center rectangle and around Gold frame on top of lid, and above Gold band around box.

6. Use the #6 shader brush to paint some leaves and stems with True Green and some leaves and stems with Deep Green. Use the #6 shader brush and the #5 round brush to paint veins with Deep Green.

7. Use the #6 shader brush to paint cherries with True Red, and make White highlights using the #5 round brush.

8. For a protective finish, brush on Satin Varnish.
